The bike-shop

For the Basic Tour, we have selected suitable Italian aluminum-bikes with triple crank sets, 21 gears, mudguards, rear rack, mounted handlebar-bags with service tools and plastic pockets for the described route maps we have made.

These bikes are available in different sizes for both women and men.

We collaborate with a bike shop in Lucca, which hands out the bikes, helps with adjustments and also has various accessories within cycling-gear, if needed.

Racing bikes.

The racing bikes have curved handlebars and “narrow” tires (23 millimetres). Bikes are build on “men's” aluminium sloping frames with carbon front fork and equipped with Campagnolo Veloce 10 speed providing a total of 20 gears. The “compact” double crank has 34-50 teeth and the rear 10 sprocket has from 13 to 23 teeth which in terms of gears covers nearly everything. Pedal system is mainly Look, but we will try to work it out if other pedal systems are needed.
