In 2009 we are launching a new place to place tour in Tuscany.  
8 days / 7 nights.

We make 2 "Giro's" in 2009 and Lars Michaelsen will be your guide.

Prices are per person when sharing a double room. Your guide will take you on 6 fantastic rides. Maps and route descriptions for 2 shorter self-guided rides on the arrival- and departure- day will be available.
Tours will ONLY take place with a minimum presence of 6 or 12 guests. Everybody who feel ready to ride 60 - 140 km a day are welcome. Prices do NOT include airfare, hotel incidentals such as phone, mini-bar, rental-bike etc. We encourage you to bring your own bike, however rental-bikes are available.

Organize your own return flight to Tuscany
- and we organize the week suitable for you, the medium trained cyclist who love cycling, nature, italian landscapes, italian mentallity, italian food and wine.

This is a tour for cyclists who bring their own racing bike and like to ride between 50 and 135 kilometres a day. Rental bikes can of course be provided, but we really encourage our guests to bring their personal custom fitted bike.
Ride on the same roads in Tuscany as the professionals. Test yourself on the Monte Serra climb as Team CSC, Alessandro Petacchi and other pro-cyclists do the whole year. Former pro cycling stars: Bartoli, Cippolini, Tafi, Rolf Sørensen and many others, who live in the area, have through their career used this famous climb for training.

We have tried to think like today's cyclist belonging to the “middle- / higher- level”. Our aim is to let you train good, eat well, sleep well and have some special memories when the Tosca-Fit Tour is over.

Our Elite Tour is built up as a 2 centre camp, over 6 full + 2 half cycling days. We stay 3 nights at a hotel in Lucca and 4 nights at a hotel at the Mediterranean Sea where we have all opportunities to ride both flat, hilly, up the Monte Serra climb, up in the Appenine mountains and along the coastline next to the Mediterranean Sea.

If your family are not into the riding business, they can visit the region or simply relax while you are out cycling. When staying in Lucca they can explore this old charming medieval town which really gives you the full flavour of Italy. Including the narrow shopping streets, the traditional coffee shops, the wine tasting "enoteca"-shops and a lot of restaurants with delicious italian courses. They can go to Florence which is 1 hour trip away from Lucca by train. 15 kilometres away you can visit the Pinocchio fairytale park. Pisa is 20 kilometres away. When staying at the Mediterranean Sea, our hotel is next to the beach and has facilities such as football-field, swimming pool both normal and for children. There are possibilities to go on guided whole or half day tours, taking you to sightseeing places such as Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Isola d´Elba.

Riding guest:    Euro 3.270,-        (NOT riding guest:    Euro 1.545,-)

7 nights lodging in 4 star hotel with FULL board.
1/4 part of a rental car.

1 EXTENDED organized wine tasting TOUR.
VIP ride with one of today's top professional bike rider.
1 Guide the whole stay per every 6 riders.

2 times "gourmet dinner"

Prices are per person when sharing a double room. 7 nights in 4 star hotel with breakfast. Normally 3 nights in Lucca and 4 nights at the Mediterranean coast line. Rental car or mini bus (size for normal permit) in 8 days, shared with 3 other guests. Maps and route descriptions for 6 full & 2 half self guided cycling days. 
Tours will ONLY take place with a minimum presence of 6 riding guests. Prices does NOT include airfare.

Monte Pitoro climb

A rental car or mini bus is available for the whole stay. When you arrive at the airport, you must pick up the car yourself. Tosca-fit will point out 1 “captain” regarding the pick up of his/her 4 traveller group - if necessary!
In Pisa or Florence airport the captain's name is filed at the car-hire frontdesk.
The captain will be in charge on arrival- and departure-day for the “self organized” airport transfer. We select and book vehicles which can carry 4 travellers each bringing maximum 1 bike-bag + luggage per person. Petrol is at own cost.

Bustransportation from and to airport, between hotels + winetasting can be organized instead of the mini bus. This service requires a minimum of 8 persons. Package price per person remains the same for all 3 Tour options.

Self guided Elite Tour Option:     Euro 1.425,-
If you want the same conditions as mentioned above in the 1.650,- Euro price, but are able to organize all vehicle transportation yourself, like airport transfers, hotel to hotel transfer, wine tasting trip etc. you do not have to be a part of a 4 person group, and the price without a rental car or mini bus, per person is Euro 1.425,-

Optional:
Single room, additional fee, 7 nights in 4 star hotel: EUR  315,-
Bike-hire, covering 8 days: EUR 180,-
Guide, 3 hours tour: EUR 65,- for 1 pers. to max. EUR 240,- for 6 pers.
          6 hours tour: EUR 130,- for 1 pers. to max. EUR 480,- for 6 pers.
Massage: EUR 40,- for 45 min.

Reduction children:
0-2 years when sleeping in parents bed or travelbed for babies: free of charge.
2-12 years when sleeping in an additional 3rd bed in a double-room: deduction EUR 210,- from package price.
Please make a note in the booking form when choosing this deduction.

Reduction for guests NOT riding their bike:
If you are not riding your bike during your Tosca-Fit Tour a deduction of the package price will be in force. The amount of the deduction will depend on which Tour you choose.
